Would you like to experience how real encounters can change the way you see yourself and the world? In this programme, everything revolves around building meaningful connections, with fellow students and with yourself. It is not just about talking about connection, but about experiencing it together through inspiring activities and relevant contemporary themes.

What will you do?

You will start with a joint kick-off session where you get to know each other in an accessible way. After that, you will go out together and take part in activities that focus on meeting and connecting. You might attend an inspiring lecture or watch a film about themes such as loneliness and connection in today’s society. You will also experience connection in a more direct way, for example by making or experiencing music together, where you discover how quickly people can connect without many words. During a reflective walk with in-depth conversations, you will notice how different communication feels when you are moving physically.

All of this is supported by a reflection programme in which you connect your own personal story to broader social and cultural questions, such as loneliness in a connected world, diversity, and inclusion.

What will you learn?

You will learn through experience what genuine encounters mean. You will develop the ability to engage openly and curiously in conversations about social and cultural themes. You will explore how your perspective relates to those of others and learn to navigate differences in background, opinion, and experience. You will discover how shared experiences can lead to deeper connection and how you can play an active role in creating it.
