Would you like to enter the job market with greater confidence? In this HZ Explore programme, you will actively develop your job application skills. You will learn how to present yourself professionally and convince employers of your strengths, increasing your chances of securing an internship, part-time job, or your first graduate role.

What will you do?

During this activity, you will take a practical approach to every stage of the job application process. You will work on your CV and cover letter, learn how to use LinkedIn effectively, and practise job interviews. You will also focus on personal branding and making a strong first impression. You will work both independently and alongside other students. In group sessions, you will give and receive feedback, allowing you to learn from one another and further improve your application skills. At the beginning and the end of the activity, you will assess your skills so that you can clearly see your progress.

What will you learn?

You will develop the practical skills needed to apply successfully for jobs in today’s labour market. You will learn how to present yourself professionally, communicate effectively, and prepare thoroughly for job applications. In addition, you will discover how to use feedback to improve your performance and approach interviews with employers with greater confidence.
