As a student ambassador, you help prospective students make an important decision: which programme suits me best? In this programme, you will learn how to represent HZ and your own degree programme in a professional and accessible way. You will use your own experience to guide others in their study choice process.

What will you do?

You will take part in study choice and recruitment activities such as open days, taster days, education fairs, and information sessions at secondary schools. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to HZ social media and your programme’s channels: you will think of and develop relevant content for prospective students. Throughout this programme, you will practise presenting, engaging in conversations, and sharing your experiences as a student. In doing so, you will learn how to respond to questions, doubts, and expectations from different target groups.

What will you learn?

You will learn how the study choice and recruitment process works and how to fulfil a representative role within it. In addition, you will develop presentation and communication skills, empathy, and self-confidence. You will discover how important authenticity and genuine interest are when helping others make the right choice.
