Zeeland is more than just the place where you study. It is a region with its own history, culture, and environment. In this programme, you will get to know Zeeland better and deepen your understanding of different cultures and backgrounds.
What will you do?
You will take part in a variety of activities both at and outside HZ, including visits to museums, places in Zeeland, and natural areas. During workshops, you will explore Dutch and Zeelandic culture and compare it with your own background and that of other students. You will reflect on the different activities so that you not only see and experience, but also give meaning to what you encounter.
What will you learn?
You will learn to look at culture and history with openness and curiosity. In addition, you will develop a greater appreciation for both differences and similarities between people and backgrounds. You will practise listening, comparing, and reflecting, and discover how shared experiences can contribute to a stronger sense of connection with each other and with the environment.
