Would you like to make a practical contribution to a cleaner environment? In this package, you'll get hands-on with clean-up actions and discover why recording litter is important. You'll combine doing, investigating and raising awareness in a package with direct societal significance.

What will you do?

You'll learn how to organise and carry out a clean-up independently. During these activities, you'll collect litter and record what you find, so that you not only clean up, but also gain insight into patterns and causes. You'll investigate the impact litter has on the environment and discuss which positive actions are possible. Together with other students, you'll work towards a concrete, visible result.

What will you learn?

You'll learn how to carry out clean-up actions in a practical and purposeful way and why monitoring helps in better understanding litter issues. You'll also reflect on your own choices and their influence on the environment. You'll also develop collaboration skills by working with others in a respectful and task-focused manner.
