Sport gets people moving, both literally and figuratively. This programme focuses on meeting others, working together, and personal development. You will discover how sport can help you build connections, strengthen your role within a group, and achieve shared goals, even when that doesn’t come naturally.

What will you do?

You will take part in team-building activities, sports clinics, and workshops in which collaboration and communication play a central role. Through both physical and mental challenges, you will experience how determination and patience are needed to reach shared goals, especially when results are not immediately visible. You will practise open communication, respect for each other’s strengths, and contributing to a positive group atmosphere. Regularly, you will reflect on your experiences, your behaviour, your effort, and the collaboration within the group.

What will you learn?

You will learn how to build meaningful connections with others in an appreciative way and how to actively contribute to a positive group dynamic. In addition, you will develop perseverance and patience: you will discover how to deal with setbacks, stay motivated, and understand the impact of your effort on the team. In this way, you will not only build social skills but also support your personal growth.

After participating in this activity, the student demonstrates that they are able to connect with others and with the context in which they collaborate in an appreciative manner. The student actively participates in group activities, communicates openly and respectfully, and contributes to a positive group dynamic. In reflections, the student is able to identify which role he or she took on within the team and how the interaction with others unfolded.

In addition, the student demonstrates determination and patience throughout the learning process. The student consistently applies themselves during sporting and mental challenges, remains motivated in the face of setbacks, and applies strategies to deal with difficulties.
