Freedom often seems self-evident, until you start exploring what it truly means. In this programme, you will examine the four freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. You will discover why these freedoms remain relevant today and how to engage in open conversations about them.

What will you do?

You will explore the four freedoms through films, museum visits, lectures, and discussions on societal themes. During the sessions, you will examine different perspectives and gain tools to engage in meaningful dialogue. You will learn to listen, ask questions, and speak respectfully about topics where opinions may differ significantly. In this way, you will connect historical and contemporary issues with your own perspective on freedom and society.

What will you learn?

You will learn what the four freedoms entail and why they remain important to this day. In addition, you will develop the skills to engage in open and respectful dialogue about them, regardless of your personal viewpoint. This will not only deepen your knowledge but also strengthen your ability to navigate societal differences.
