Would you like to do something that truly makes a difference? In the Impact Team, you will work with other students on a theme that matters to you, such as making sport more accessible, mental health, sustainability, or community connection. You will form a small team of three to four students and work together on a concrete project.

What will you do?

You will start with a joint kick-off session and then form an impact team around a theme that appeals to you. Together with your team, you will research, design, and organise your own activity or campaign. You will create a plan, divide tasks, and carry it out. Throughout the programme, you will follow a workshop on leadership and gain inspiration from examples of people who make a difference for others, in both small and large ways. Along the way, you will present your ideas and work on your personal leadership skills. At the end, you will showcase what you have organised and the impact your team has made.

What will you learn?

You will develop skills in collaboration, planning, and organisation. You will learn how to turn an idea into a concrete activity. At the same time, you will build leadership skills: taking responsibility, making decisions, and bringing others along with your ideas. In addition, you will practise communication, giving feedback, and working with people who have different perspectives.

This activity is made possible by HZ Community and Delta Climate Center.
